The economy is on the slump and christmas is right around the corner. You still want to get that special gift for your kid that would make them beam with happiness but your pocket is small and you are watching every penny.Well anyone snooping around the NESSCreations website would realise that I am not only providing employment solutions but that I also have a section devoted to what I call Green or Earth Consciouness. That's basically the term that I use for a level of awareness about our beloved home which I hope will transcend into our lives and affect our lifestyles. So here's a thought - why not go for a green toy? There are some really great toys available and they can be quite inexpensive too. Naturally they can also get costly but that depends on your pocket and how much you are willing to put out.
WHY GO GREEN FOR TOYS?
Here are some really cool reasons why you should go green for toys:
1. For a small price you can get a toy that uses cutting edge science technology. Some of these toys use solar powered cells, reversible polymer electrolytic membranes and other current technology innovations which you hear about in the Science news section.
2. These toys are both cool and educational.Your kids do not just have fun, they learn valuable concepts about saving the earth and science at the same time.
3. Low operating costs! These green technology toys do not come with a usage bill. No electricity! No batteries! No further cost!
4. Send a Message - The Earth is Worth It!As simple as it may sound if you as a parent decide to invest in green technology toys, you not only impart a value system to your children but also to your friends and the parents of your children's friends.
Naturally of course it will be a stronger message if you also include and make use of green technology in the day to day running of your home. For example choosing to use Energy Star products, fluoroscent lighting and other natural products all send a powerful message that our earth is worth saving for generations to come. Plus as a bonus, these products also save you money by helping you reduce your energy bills.
So go green for the Christmas! As a matter of fact go green for life!
