Think Solar. Think Green. Think Earth.
Why should you or I care about Green Technology, being eco-friendly, or finding out about clean energy? And even if I care why should I go the extra step to seek out information on these green concepts and take an even further step to implement them?
If you read on you will find out why you should care and why you should even spend money towards green technology and eco-friendly contributions. So the following list is a summary of “Why you should care about green technology/ eco-friendly studies?”
(Its really three main reasons)
1. To Save the Earth
2. Preserve our Bodies - Its Healthy to think Green!
3. To Save and Make Money
1 We need to Save the Planet РYes I know it sounds clich̩ but its real. This wonderful planet has been our home for eons and it will be the home of our children and grandchildren so yes we should want to save it. And even if you have no family you probably have a dog or like birds. My point is this: the planet is home to a lot of creatures and some of them like the animals are at the mercy of us humans. So if you do not care about saving the planet for yourself think about the poor animals and plants ok.
2. Our existing energy sources are dangerous not just to the planet but to our bodies. You may have heard the term “clean energy” which is synonymous to renewable energy or alternative energy. This is a concept that has actually led the research and development into non-fossil fuel type energy sources. As a worker in the petrochemical industry I can tell you first hand that refining of oil causes real pollution. There are several gases such as H2S and CO that are emitted into the atmosphere which are poisonous and harmful to human beings and while there are regulations to keep these emissions to a minimum the fact is that they are never totally eradicated. When I first started to work in a refinery years ago I was sick on the first day of the job. The air smells bad and makes you feel upset. So I welcomed the thought of working to harness clean energy which would not affect our health.
3. The third reason why you should care is because green technology enthusiasts can actually save money by being earth conscious. That’s right this can hit your pocket in a positive way. By implementing just one or two of the green concepts found on this site you can reduce your energy bills and costs by as much as 80% and in some of the products presented you can actually eliminate your energy bill totally!
Now certainly just in case you were a cold and heartless being and did not care about the planet or your health, I am sure you care about money. With so many people looking for ways to make money I am sure that very few of them may have considered that saving money is actually a real way to make money. What would you do if you reduced your electricity bill by 80% - Well you could take that same money and invest it into a mutual fund or some other investment! Look I am no financial advisor but I know that there are a lot of people spending tons of money every month to start up a business – well guess what- this business idea has virtually no start up cost. The only thing you need to invest is time to get the knowledge you need. Money saved can become money earned!
